My name is Jordan Wirfs-Brock. For my capstone reporting project at the University of Colorado’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication, I’m investigating how creativity, innovation, and invention occurs in the digital age. Some of the central questions I’m exploring are:

• Has the process of innovation changed with new social digital tools?
• How does the creative process work?
• What is the role collaboration plays in problem solving?
• How is the process of invention different from the process of innovation?
• How is innovation encouraged or hampered by corporate culture?
